Just thought I would take a minute to let Morgana’s Favourite B&B in her favourite country town know what has happened since the AFI’s last year.
The Tree film has continued it’s trip around the world with rave reviews. Morgana was on the front page of the movie section of The New York Times 2 weeks ago. The reviews are over welmingly possitive for Morgana most refering to her as the new discovery.
Late last year Morgana won the coverted Film Critics Award for an outstanding performance for her role in The Tree.
Today MSN world wide out of London named her as one of 5 young acters to watch globally.
In a huge red carpet The Hunter will open in Sydney in late September. Morgana stars with Willem Defoe, Sarah Frances and Sam Neil – the next movie from the team that brought us Animal Kingtdom. Mean while she is currently filming Steven Spielberg’s Terra Nova, the most expensive TV serioies ever produced. It starts in the US late September and in Australi on 10 early 2012.So The Tree filmed near Kalbar has mad it now to 34 countries and been translated in to dozens of languages. Not a bad effort, please pass this on to those interested. I look at the images of your beautiful front room with fond memories

It was actually filmed in TEVIOTVILLE just up the main road from Kalbar.
If you want to come and stay at Wiss House we will show you where the tree is and also we have Charlotte Gainsbourgs film script and memorabillia. You can even sleep in the bed she slept in.
Remember its just 3 kms from Wiss House…not in Boonah at all.

I was privileged to be invited to the Australian Premiere of the movie “The Tree” at Boonah Cultural Centre last weekend.
I was just so excited to be finally seeing the movie and then Morgana Davies (the child star in the movie) came to stay at Wiss House for the Premiere with her dad.
I was deeply touched by this beautiful young girl who didnt want any fuss about it and was just thrilled to be back in Kalbar seeing the friends she had made during her time here last year.
We all got dressed up to the nines! Red carpet walking was a first for me anyway!
I really must say that Morgana was THE TRUE STAR of the movie.
She was hauntingly beautiful and emerged as a very wise soul, true to her heart. Getting to meet her personally strengthened my opinion of her and that is that she reminds me of an angel, and l told her so!
The movie is fabulous and really well worth seeing.
Morgana’s father tells me she has been auditioning for new roles.
I truely hope to see her again and l will be watching her career with great interest.
And Australia take note….you have a new star…young Morgana Davies

Absolutely perfect weather at the moment out here, slightly warmer than Brisbane and the pool looks very inviting on our perfect days and the green pastures and crisp mountain views are magical.
A great time to go on a bush walk.
There are five National Parks surrounding us , some with waterfalls and cute cafes and scenic lookouts.
Why not try gliding at our local airport, an experience you will always treasure.
The Wharkuroogma Nursery near Kalbar has a cute animal nursery with heaps of baby lambs, peacocks, abundant bird life and while your there check out the carpet python snake up in the rafters of the toilet block….beautiful!
They have created a rainforest there and the native plants are so cheap compared to other places. For example l bought one metre high hedging plants there that l had priced at Bunnings and they were less than half price at this nursery.
Enjoy the beautiful surroundings and for $4 you can take their bush walk which is about 2.5 hours through their property and you will see heaps of bird life, especial water birds . Their 3 dams have created a wetlands and the birds are abundant!
